Why we care about Harmony House and the iCare Campaign.
Kristin P has worked as the Financial and Insurance Coordinator for Lifestyle Dental for about 3 1/2 years now. Some may have seen her, some may have not, but if you have any treatment, billing, financial, or insurance issues that need to be taken care of, she’s the one working behind the scenes on your behalf. From fighting for your rights as a patient against insurance companies, to handling social media and beyond, Kristin P is ready to help you afford the care that you need. Here, she shares why she cares about domestic violence.
“Domestic violence is such a pervasive issue within our community here in Springfield, and beyond. It is a topic that many are too afraid to talk about and many victims can’t get the help they desperately need due to fear, diminished confidence, and being victimized by their abusers, physically and emotionally. Harmony House helps these victims from the moment they step out in faith asking for help to getting them back on their feet and ready for a brighter future. The iCare campaign is a great way to spread community awareness and put the topic at the forefront of everyone’s minds. We live in a bubble in today’s technological society; sometimes it takes just looking around and really seeing people, to be that person that saves their life.”
We are raising funds for Harmony House through the month of October at the office through raffle tickets for two great prizes. $1 per raffle ticket, you don’t have to be a patient to enter (so spread the word!), and we accept cash or check at the office. You can win a fire pit with all the goodies inside, or a gift pack from The Cutting Edge Salon. Enter today, and help bring domestic violence out in the open, and be a part of stopping the cycle. Thank you.
